About the Position

In the role of IT specialist focused on Platform, you will help ensure that our IT environment is stable, secure, and accessible. You will work both operationally and strategically with technical system management and development of the Platform, with the goal of delivering a robust and future-proofed IT infrastructure in line with the organization's requirements.

Your tasks include daily operations and maintenance of operating systems, virtualization layers, and storage and backup environments. You will handle troubleshooting, incidents, and disruptions, while actively participating in planning and implementing upgrades and the introduction of new features. You will contribute your expertise in design and construction meetings and be an important support in both internal and external IT projects.

The role also involves responsibility for documenting technical solutions and working methods, as well as representing the IT department in both internal forums and external collaborations. If necessary, you will also participate in procurements and work with contract follow-up in your area.

This is a central role where you have the opportunity to influence and further develop our technical platform in a socially important organization.

The position is located in Arboga, with domestic travel occurring as a natural part of the job.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a graduate engineer with a focus in a relevant field or has equivalent competence acquired in another way that FMV assesses as equivalent and valuable for the position. You also have at least three years of experience working with daily operations, troubleshooting, and optimizing IT infrastructure with a focus on Windows Server. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.

It is an advantage if you have experience working in a data center and if you have experience with total defense common regulations and security solutions. It is also beneficial if you have knowledge of any of the following: Citrix, VMware Hypervisor, Linux, Backup/Storage, SQL Server, Powershell, ITIL, and management governance, information security work. A driver's license (B) is also an advantage.
